Description: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty equipment, vehicles, and machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Repairs:\r
    • \r
    • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.\r
    • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and fix issues.\r
    • Replace or repair damaged or worn-out components to ensure optimal performance and safety.\r

  • Safety Protocols:\r
    • \r
    • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company standards.\r
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.\r

  • Inventory Management:\r
    • \r
    • Monitor and manage inventory for necessary parts, tools, and equipment.\r
    • Order parts and materials as needed to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.\r

Requirements:

  • \r
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, or a related field preferred.\r
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment or machinery.\r
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.\r
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.\r
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.\r
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\r
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\r
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to X lbs). Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions, confined spaces, and noisy areas.\r
