Multilingual Content Specialist

At Zhouming Nigeria Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multilingual Content Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess native or near-native fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, with a strong command of dialects and regional variations.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cultural nuances. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating a wide range of documents, including legal, technical, marketing, and general business materials, from Chinese to English and vice versa.

We also require interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events, as well as localization of content to specific target markets, considering cultural, linguistic, and regional differences.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience in professional translation and interpretation
• Cultural Sensitivity: Strong understanding of Chinese and Western cultures and customs
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $100,000 depending on location and experience.
