Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the planning and execution of mechanical maintenance activities in oil and gas production facilities. This includes developing and implementing maintenance strategies, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize operational interruptions.
  • Oversee the repair and replacement of defective equipment and components.
  • C Coordinate with vendors and external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.

Reliability & Integrity Management

  • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to enhance asset integrity and extend equipment life.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).

Project Management

  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and executing mechanical maintenance projects.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Liaise with production and process teams to ensure maintenance activities do not negatively impact operations.
