Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance and Governance Lead to join our team at WAJESMART SOLUTIONS LTD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and organizational policies, conducting special investigations as directed by management or the audit committee.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of governance processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change.
  • Collaborate with management to implement governance improvements, ensuring timely and effective implementation of changes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on governance and compliance issues, participating in cross-functional projects to ensure effective governance.
  • Develop and maintain effective governance processes, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in governance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess governance weaknesses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to governance and compliance.
