Purchasing Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Manager to join our team at Hospitality Recruitment placement Service (HRPS). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring that purchased items meet our high standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies
  2. Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings
  4. Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
  5. Prepare budgets and cost analyses
  6. Negotiate contracts with suppliers

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
  • Sound knowledge of local food prices
  • Attention to detail
  • Must reside in Lekki Phase 1, Ikoyi, Obalende or Victoria Island
