Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings and disputes, ensuring a strong defense and favorable outcomes.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, maintaining a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Provide legal advice and support to various departments and senior management, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Manage external legal counsel and oversee litigation processes, leveraging expert knowledge to drive results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous growth.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, staying ahead of regulatory changes and emerging trends.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation and corporate legal practice, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent; must be called to the Bar, demonstrating expertise in law and its application.
  • Strong understanding of legal and compliance frameworks, with the ability to analyze complex information and provide clear guidance.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing work and meeting expectations.
