About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Enugu. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating and managing CT, MRI, and C-Arm imaging equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
">Key Responsibilities
">Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including scans, interpreting results as needed in collaboration with healthcare teams.
">Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
">Maintain radiology equipment and perform routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
">Assist in the management of patient records using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and relevant IT systems.
">Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines while conducting imaging procedures.
">Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and timely diagnosis.
">Ensure clear and effective communication with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
">Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment to minimize downtime.
">Requirements
">Degree in Radiography or related fields.
">At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a radiology department.
">Strong technical knowledge and experience in using MRI and CT equipment is essential.
">Proficiency in using PACS and other radiology software/technology.
">Postgraduate qualification in Radiography is desirable but not required.
