Acquisitions Manager for Strategic Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Acquisitions Manager to oversee our procurement activities and ensure that purchased items meet high quality and cost efficiency standards. The successful candidate will supervise a team of staff, maintain positive supplier relationships, evaluate supply options, approve purchases, and maintain accurate records.

• Oversee and supervise employees and all activities within the purchasing department.
• Develop plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
• Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management or a similar field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position, preferably in the rubber manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Attention to detail.
