Senior Education Development Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Education Development Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in shaping our education strategies and programs, ensuring they are effective and efficient in meeting the needs of children and communities.

• Lead the development of education policies and strategies that align with UNICEF's overall goals and objectives;
• Provide technical support to governments and partners to strengthen education systems and improve learning outcomes;
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, donors, and other partners, to advance education agendas and secure funding;
• Conduct research and analysis to inform education programming and policy decisions;
• Develop and manage budgets for education projects and programs;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A master's degree in education or a related field;
• At least 8 years of experience in education program management, policy development, and research;
• Strong understanding of education systems, policies, and practices in developing countries;
• Excellent communication and project management skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders;

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
