Job Summary:
As a Logistics Yard Coordinator at OBOR LOGISTICS NIGERIA LIMITED, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard facilities. This includes container management, loading and unloading coordination, weighing and documentation, on-site operations coordination, and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Container Management: Record container entry and exit information, arrange storage locations, and monitor yard inventory to optimize space utilization.
- Loading and Unloading Coordination: Arrange container loading and unloading according to customer requirements, ensure proper cargo placement to avoid overloading or height issues, and communicate with drivers to coordinate loading and unloading sequences.
- Weighing and Documentation: Supervise the weighing process before and after loading to ensure accuracy, record weight data to comply with shipping and customer requirements, and handle exceptions such as overweight or discrepancies in weight measurements.
- On-Site Operations Coordination: Communicate with drivers to organize work schedules, resolve unexpected issues such as vehicle dispatch problems, and ensure smooth workflow to prevent congestion in the yard.
- Safety Management: Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, ensure workers wear safety gear (e.g., reflective vests, gloves), and report and address safety risks to improve operational procedures.
