Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Ascentech Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by preparing new hire documentation, setting up workspaces, and conducting orientation sessions for new employees.
- Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital and paper formats, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures to staff, supporting compliance with local labor laws and company policies, including health and safety requirements.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Organize employee engagement activities and events, support the HR team in addressing employee concerns, and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- General HR Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and organizing HR documents, assist with HR projects, and handle ad-hoc HR-related tasks as assigned.
- Education: BSc/HND degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years in an HR assistant or administrative role (internship experience in HR is a plus).
- Skills: Basic knowledge of HR principles and practices, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS), strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
The estimated salary range for this position is NGN 3,000,000 - 4,500,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, the successful candidate can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
