Farm Operations Specialist

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Specialist to join our team at PALLADIUM FARMS LIMITED. As a Farm Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in the safe operation of our farm vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate various types of farm equipment, including trucks, tractors, and other machinery, to transport farm products, supplies, and equipment as needed. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on our farm vehicles and equipment, identifying any mechanical issues or problems, and reporting them to the Farm Manager.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to think critically in high-pressure situations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
