**Job Overview:**
KAAPO NIGERIA LIMITED is seeking an experienced Account Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accounting records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring company finances are accurate and up-to-date.
The Account Officer will oversee financial processes, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, while maintaining communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and suggest cost-reduction strategies
- Oversee financial processes, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Maintain communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and professional manner
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have experience working with financial software and systems, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
