We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials within our organization. This includes selecting carriers, negotiating contracts and rates, planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries, supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services, organizing warehouse, labeling goods, plotting routes, and processing shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates
2. Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries
3. Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
4. Organizing warehouse, labeling goods, plotting routes, and processing shipments
5. Responding to any issues or complaints
6. Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
7. Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
8. Evaluating budgets and expenditures
9. Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
10. Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: NGN 700,000 - NGN 1,000,000 per annum
