Job Overview:
EKO MAINTENANCE is a leading provider of maintenance services, seeking a skilled Storekeeping Professional to join our team. As a Storekeeping Professional, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of inventory management, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all items in the store.
- Administer stored items with care and caution, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient utilization of resources.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and address discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions and external customer orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the storage area to uphold high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.
- Utilize computerized inventory management systems to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyze trends for informed decision-making.
- Provide support during inventory counts, reconciliations, and year-end audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials if applicable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
