Nutrition Specialist Job Description

At UNICEF, we are committed to providing the highest quality nutrition services to support the health and well-being of children and their families. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our nutrition programme in Sokoto Field Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and preparation of the nutrition programme
• Manage, implement, monitor, evaluate, and report the programme progress of a sector of the nutrition programme
• Provide technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes
• Engage in nutrition policy dialogue and advocacy with the State Government and key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Advanced university degree in nutrition, public health, or a related field
• Minimum five years of professional experience in nutrition, public health, or a related field
• Experience in health and nutrition programme development and management in a UN system agency or organization
