Senior Attorney

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Lawyer to join our team at Odixcity Consulting. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients in a court of law.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of all necessary documents for case filings, including briefs and other court documents
• Collaboration with team members to develop comprehensive case briefs for trials
• Scheduling and conducting depositions of witnesses and experts
• Conducting thorough research on legal concepts, case law, judicial opinions, statutes, and regulations
• Providing expert analysis and interpretation of legal citations and statutory requirements
• Management of accurate case files, notes, and reports
• Negotiation of cases to meet the needs of the firm and the client
• Ensuring compliance with court orders and collecting necessary fines
• Development and drafting of legal documents, such as contracts, lawsuits, deeds, wills, and appeals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law
• First-class or second-class upper degree holder in law
• Attended Law school in Nigeria
• Licensed lawyer with at least two years' experience
• Proven experience in litigation
• Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents
• Adept analytical thinker with excellent conceptual and research skills
• Natural leader with sound judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
