Executive Chef

At Akwa Ibom Transport Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare menus that showcase a variety of local and international dishes.
• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
• Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a chef or cook in a hotel, guest house, or restaurant.
• Excellent culinary skills, including knife techniques, food preparation, and plating.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Working Conditions:

The role requires long hours in the kitchen, standing for extended periods while preparing and cooking meals. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a busy and sometimes high-pressure environment.
