We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Tour Consultant. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing customized travel itineraries, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and promoting tour packages to attract new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customized travel itineraries that meet clients' specific needs and preferences, ensuring seamless travel arrangements and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, to promote tour packages and attract new clients, driving revenue growth and expansion of our client base.
- Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding travel requirements, visa applications, travel insurance, and other essential documentation, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
- Utilize computer reservation systems and travel planning software to efficiently manage travel arrangements and client needs, minimizing errors and delays.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and tour packages, staying up-to-date with industry developments and trends to provide informed recommendations and advice to clients.
Requirements
- 1 year proven work experience as a Tour Consultant/Vacation Expert or in a similar role within the travel industry, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in travel and tourism principles.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, managing multiple travel arrangements and client needs efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in itinerary preparation and reservation bookings, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in using computer reservation systems and travel planning software, leveraging technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
