We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at INFINION TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our business operations.

About the Role:

The DevOps Engineer role involves a combination of technical and management responsibilities. You will need to have excellent communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner and deliver the responsibilities to customers' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning: Plan the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
  • Defining and Setting Processes: Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
  • Code Review and Validation: Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot techniques and fix the code bugs.
  • Automated Processes: Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
  • Implementation: Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders and external interfaces.
  • Tool Setup: Set up tools and required infrastructure.
  • Customer Requirements: Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.
  • Cybersecurity Measures: Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • CI/CD Tools: Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
  • Monitoring: Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidence management and root cause analysis.
  • Reporting: Manage periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Engineering Experience: Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
  • Technical Skills: Experience is needed in Kubernetes(AKS), Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Linux Sys Admin (RHEL, Ubuntu, Alpine), Azure Networking, Azure Application Gateway, Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Jenkins.
  • Microsoft Azure Platform: Demonstrable experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service (PaaS) products such as Azure SQL, AppServices, Logic Apps, Functions and other Serverless services.
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Management: Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such including Azure AD or AD B2C.
  • Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights and Log Analytics.
  • Scripting Skills: Knowledge of PowerShell, Git, ARM templates and deployment automation.
  • System Security Measures: Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
  • Business Analysis Techniques: Advanced education and application of business analysis techniques and strategy.
  • Git Workflows: Proficient with git and git workflows.
  • Programming Languages: Good knowledge of Ruby or Python.
  • Databases and SQL: Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Certification: Azure DevOps Engineer Certification (Preferred).
