Job Description
Kitchen Assistant required for Hospitality Recruitment Placement Service (HRPS) to support the cook in meal preparation, maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, and adhere to food safety regulations.

Key Tasks:

• Support the cook in meal preparation, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas, washing and storing equipment, and sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors.
• Unload delivered food supplies, organize and store food supplies correctly, and transfer meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the cook's instructions.
• Prepare hot beverages, stir and heat soups and sauces.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• 2 years experience assisting in kitchens
• Food handler's license
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and team collaboration
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, effective communication skills
