Senior Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delegating tasks and assignments to all workshop staff/managers with set deliverables against expected deadlines. This includes ensuring daily, weekly and periodic tasks are communicated effectively.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating Lean Initiatives throughout the operations, ensuring they are fully embraced and implemented. Direct reports must be accountable for all assignments mapped out in the division, providing prompt feedback on progress of their teams.

The candidate will also be responsible for project management, ensuring all projects are efficiently managed with considerations to costs, timeframe, needed workforce and client satisfaction. Real-time communication of activities, challenges, proposals on MRO to executive management is essential, as well as weekly and monthly reports on all activities, projects completed, etc to executive management.

Effective documentation is crucial, including keeping track of services and inventory records, accounts and financial information, and following up on requisitions of parts through the procurement officer. Accounting for all workshop tools and equipment is also necessary.

The candidate will advise management on required personnel, skills and experience needed to carry out MRO projects, ensuring they are properly distributed and utilized for effective and efficient output. Leadership skills are essential, promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. A culture of accountability and results must be driven through strategy deployment and effective performance management.

Budgeting and managing operations of the division within budget constraints are critical responsibilities. Customer retention is also vital, focusing on building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction at the highest level through effective services and repairs. Delivering vehicles to customers on time is essential.
