Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Imoniyame Holdings ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques and equipment.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety to ensure the highest standards of quality in all projects.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts effectively;
• Welding small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines with precision;
• Maintaining and repairing machinery to optimize performance;
• Assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors and inconsistencies;
• FOLLOWING AND ENFORCING STRICT SAFETY REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES;
• Monitoring machinery for appropriate usage and temperature to prevent damage;
• Welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions with ease.

In order to excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• SSCE or Welding Apprenticeship Certification preferred;
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick);
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately;
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work;
• Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude;
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
