Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tailor and Creative Director to join our team at Archware technology. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting fabrics and trims, creating tech packs with detailed specifications, developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders, discussing design, alteration, or repair requirements with customers to ensure that their specifications are met, taking customers' measurements using a tape measure, accurately recording customers' measurements, instructions, and preferences, attaching labels to customers' garments to prevent any errors, modifying garments according to customer instructions, altering garments to improve comfort and fit, repairing customers' garments, constructing garments for customers based on their design ideas, specifications, and preferences, and providing customers with cost estimates for the construction of customized garments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting fabrics and trims to match customers' preferences and budget.
  • Creating tech packs with detailed specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
  • Developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders and gain approval.
  • Discussing design, alteration, or repair requirements with customers to ensure their specifications are met.
  • Taking customers' measurements using a tape measure and accurately recording them.
  • Attaching labels to customers' garments to prevent errors.
  • Modifying garments according to customer instructions.
  • Altering garments to improve comfort and fit.
  • Repairing customers' garments, including patching or sewing tears and holes.
  • Constructing garments for customers based on their design ideas, specifications, and preferences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in fashion design or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion design or tailoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and fashion trends.
  • Fabric selection and procurement skills.
