The IT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This includes providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, and administering computer hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to employees and management, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Network Administration: Maintain and administer computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and the Internet, ensure network security, reliability, and performance.
- Computer Systems Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and virus scans.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and applications, ensure IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and meets business needs.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect against cyber threats, monitor and respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate technical information to non-technical staff and management, collaborate with other departments to ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems and infrastructure, provide regular reports on IT performance, security, and other relevant metrics.
