Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos State, Nigeria, for a Production Manager in Menswear. The Production Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end production process of menswear apparel, ensuring quality standards, timely delivery, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production operations, managing and coordinating production teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and implementing process improvements. The role also involves supervising quality control measures, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow management
- Knowledge of menswear design and garment manufacturing processes
- Ability to lead teams effectively, manage resources, and prioritize tasks under time constraints
- Proficiency in communication skills to liaise with vendors, designers, and internal teams effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements
- Experience with quality control standards and ensuring product consistency
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain logistics
- Relevant educational background in textile management, fashion design, or a related field is highly desirable
- Prior experience in a similar production management role is a significant advantage
