Role Description

This is a temporary on-site role for a Graphic Designer located in Port Harcourt. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual designs, including graphics, logos, and branding materials. The role involves working collaboratively to develop creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency, and producing high-impact, visually appealing designs. Tasks will also include incorporating typography elements to enhance the overall design deliverables while adhering to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Concept & Creation: Designing and producing a wide array of marketing and sales materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, presentation decks, infographics, and print collateral.

Brand Stewardship: Upholding and evolving our brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring visual consistency and coherence in every project.

Collaboration: Working closely with the Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to understand project requirements, conceptualize ideas, and deliver designs that meet both creative and business objectives.

Project Management: Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to final delivery, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Asset Production: Preparing and delivering final assets in the correct formats for web, print, and social media platforms.

Feedback Integration: Proactively incorporating feedback and making revisions to refine designs to perfection.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing a strong sense of typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling across both digital and print media.
• High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential).
• Experience with Figma or Sketch for digital/UI design tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering pixel-perfect work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Graphics, Graphic Design, and creating visually appealing content
• Experience in Logo Design and developing cohesive Branding materials
• Strong skills in Typography and its application in creative design
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Suite is required
• A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline is preferred
