Location: Lagos
About the Role**
A reputable financial institution is seeking a Commercial Banking executive to lead mid-market business growth, drive customer acquisition, and manage a large commercial portfolio across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Commercial Banking business and drive P&L performance.
Grow mid-market client relationships and oversee regional commercial teams.
Develop innovative lending, cash management, and trade solutions for commercial clients.
Strengthen portfolio quality and monitor credit performance.
Oversee sales strategy, customer engagement, and sector penetration.
Collaborate with product, risk, digital, and operations teams to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
12–15+ years' experience in Commercial or Business Banking.
Demonstrated success managing commercial portfolios and sales teams.
Strong credit analysis, lending, and business development experience.
Deep market understanding of FMCG, manufacturing, trading, and distribution sectors.
Proven leadership managing multi-regional teams.
