We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to drive the design and development of our next-generation enterprise-grade applications. This role requires deep expertise in either the Java or C#/.NET ecosystem, a strong focus on cloud-native development, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using
    either Java or C#/.NET
    and associated modern frameworks.
  • Build and manage robust, scalable RESTful microservices in a distributed architecture.
  • Work with
    AWS or equivalent cloud services
    for cloud-based deployments, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Participate in high-level technical design discussions, rigorous code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives.
  • Lead or mentor junior developers, setting standards for best practices and collaborating effectively with QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
  • Ensure application quality through comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to established coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in a major backend ecosystem:
    Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with either:

Java:
Expertise with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).

C#/.NET:
Expertise with .NET Core/ASP.NET Core (MVC, Web API).

  • Proficient in
    ORM tools
    (e.g., Hibernate/JPA for Java or Entity Framework for C#) and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and proven understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture design patterns, and best coding practices.
  • Familiarity with
    AWS / Equivalent Cloud services
    (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, or comparable Azure/GCP services).
  • Proficient with version control tools (e.g., Git) and relevant build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle for Java or NuGet/MSBuild for C#).
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
  • Prior experience working in agile/scrum teams and fast-paced development environments.
  • Banking or FinTech Experience.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.

7–10 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java/J2EE or C#/.NET.
