Position Summary
The Investment Broker Specialist will serve as a key intermediary between Buntu Digital Services Limited and potential investors, venture capitalists, and funding institutions. The role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in capital markets, investment negotiations, and financial advisory. The ideal candidate will identify, engage, and secure funding and partnership opportunities to support the company's expansion and project financing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Source, identify, and engage potential investors and funding partners locally and internationally.
Structure and negotiate investment deals, private placements, and partnership agreements in alignment with company objectives.
Develop and maintain strong investor relations through continuous communication and reporting.
Conduct market research, risk analysis, and valuation assessments to guide investment decisions.
Prepare investment proposals, pitch decks, and financial summaries for presentation to investors.
Advise management on market trends, investment opportunities, and strategic funding options.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and contract terms.
Support investor onboarding and due diligence processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in investment brokerage, capital markets, or financial advisory.
Proven track record in raising capital or securing investment deals (preferably in fintech, technology, or related sectors).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Nigerian and international investment frameworks.
Excellent networking and relationship management abilities.
Professional certifications (CFA, CIS, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Contract Terms
Duration: 6–12 months (renewable based on performance).
Compensation: Commission-based, with performance bonuses tied to successful funding deals.
Work Mode: Hybrid/Remote, with periodic in-person strategy meetings.
