AB Maks Studios is looking for a forward-thinking Motion Graphics & AI Visual Specialist with advanced skills in animation, storyboarding, and Generative AI.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional design and AI technology. You will be responsible for visualizing scripts, crafting detailed text-to-video prompts, and generating high-quality assets to bring STEM content to life. This role requires a unique blend of technical motion graphics skills and the creative foresight to "direct" AI tools to produce specific visual results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Script Visualization & Prompt Engineering: Analyze scripts to conceptualize visual sequences and craft precise, descriptive AI prompts to generate high-quality video clips and images (using tools like Midjourney, Runway Gen-2, Pika, or similar).
- Asset Generation & Integration: Generate AI video assets and seamlessly integrate them with custom motion graphics and animations in post-production.
- Storyboarding: Develop storyboards that act as a blueprint for both manual animation and AI generation, ensuring a cohesive visual style.
- Motion Design: Create and animate overlays, typography, and complex explainers to simplify STEM concepts using Adobe After Effects.
- Quality Control: Refine and upscale AI-generated content to meet broadcast/YouTube quality standards, correcting artifacts and ensuring consistency.
- Trend Adaptation: Stay updated on the rapidly evolving world of AI video tools and design trends to keep our content production efficient and cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or visual content creation.
- AI Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to visualize a script and translate it into effective prompts for AI video and image generators. Experience with tools like Runway ML, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or Pika Labs is highly desired.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop).
- Visual Storytelling: Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and camera movement—and the ability to describe these technically in text prompts.
- Location: You must be able to work on-site at the studio in Ibadan (near BCOS TV Station, Bashorun) as this is not a remote position.
