About the Role

This pivotal role requires a self-starter who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver results through sales, strategic partnerships, and channel development. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening dealer networks, and positioning the organization as a top provider of smart and conventional metering solutions in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development


• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.


• Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities with DisCos, real estate developers, industrial clients, and other major stakeholders.


• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, deal closure, and post-sales support.

Dealer & Channel Management


• Identify, recruit, and onboard new sales dealers and distributors nationwide.


• Strengthen relationships with existing partners through regular engagement, product training, and performance incentives.


• Monitor and evaluate dealer performance, ensuring alignment with company standards and brand values.

Market Analysis & Strategy


• Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.


• Provide insights and reports to inform management strategy and decision-making.


• Propose innovative business models and strategic partnerships to enhance growth.

Technical & Product Expertise


• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for all product lines, including smart and conventional meters.


• Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients and partners.


• Liaise closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer needs and market feedback inform product development.

Qualifications & Skills


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related technical field.


• 5–7 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably in the metering, power, or electrical industries.


• Proven record of closing high-value deals and managing long-term client relationships.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


• Willingness to travel frequently across Nigeria for business development activities.
