Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for an Executive Chef in Benin City. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, creating and updating menus, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining inventory and cost control. The Executive Chef will also ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills, including food preparation and presentation
• Experience in menu creation and development
• Leadership and management skills, including managing kitchen staff
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Inventory management and cost control skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certification or degree in Culinary Arts or related field
• Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role is a plus
