The Head of Marketing & Sales is the strategic business leader responsible for driving revenue growth, brand visibility, market penetration, and customer acquisition for the company's real estate portfolio. The role oversees end-to-end marketing operations, sales management, project positioning, digital marketing, lead generation, customer relations, and team performance.

The ideal candidate must possess strong real estate market knowledge, proven sales leadership experience, and the ability to manage high-value transactions within Nigeria's regulatory landscape.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic & Business Leadership

  • Develop and implement the company's marketing and sales strategy to achieve corporate revenue targets.
  • Conduct real estate market research (pricing trends, competition, customer behaviour, emerging locations).
  • Lead product development strategies: property positioning, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Drive quarterly and annual revenue forecasts and financial planning.

B. Marketing Management

  • Oversee all brand development, advertising campaigns, media planning, and public relations.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives: SEO, social media growth, paid ads, website optimization, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong alliances with developers, agents, brokers, and channel partners.
  • Coordinate marketing materials such as property brochures, virtual tours, signage, and sales decks.
  • Monitor key marketing KPIs including lead generation, campaign ROI, customer engagement, and brand visibility.

C. Sales Leadership

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle—prospecting, presentations, negotiations, documentation, and closing.
  • Strengthen the company's sales pipeline and lead management systems using CRM tools.
  • Set monthly/quarterly sales targets and ensure team performance aligns with objectives.
  • Lead large-ticket negotiations for land sales, off-plan projects, and property investments.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and oversee customer service and after-sales support.

D. Team Management

  • Train, mentor, and supervise sales and marketing teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and sales strategy meetings.
  • Ensure staff adhere to ethical selling practices and regulatory guidelines.

E. Operational & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure marketing and sales activities comply with Nigerian real estate regulations.
  • Oversee documentation accuracy: contracts, offer letters, payment schedules, and customer records.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Estate Management, or related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years' experience in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in real estate.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria's real estate sales cycle, market dynamics, and customer behaviour.
  • Experience with digital marketing, CRM platforms, and data analytics tools.
