Role Description

This is a
full time role
based in
Port Harcourt
. The
Programs and Operations Manager
will support the strategic and day-to-day management of Lincgreen's programs and activities. The role involves coordinating teams, managing partnerships, supporting project implementation, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the organization's goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • Experience in NGO operations, community engagement, or project management is an advantage
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Community Engagement: Experience in building partnerships with local leaders, schools, and organizations for project collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, impact assessments, and monitoring of program metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Ability to manage hybrid work arrangements and adapt to dynamic project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in
    grant writing, proposal development, and project tracking
  • Oversee
    budgeting, reporting, and financial accountability
    for programs
  • Coordinate and manage
    volunteers, community programs, and events
  • Handle
    social media management, public relations, and content creation
    (posts, articles, press releases)
  • Lead
    program monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
    to track progress and impact
  • Strengthen partnerships with community stakeholders and collaborators
  • Ensure smooth operations and compliance with internal and external requirements

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in
    Canva
    and
    CapCut
    for content creation
  • Good knowledge of
    Google Workspace tools
    (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
  • Ability to use
    Excel spreadsheets
    for data and budget management
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and time-management skills
  • Good knowledge of social media algorithm
