Learning and Development Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in driving organizational growth through the development and delivery of engaging training programs.:

Job descriptions & requirementsResponsibilities:
Needs Analysis and Assessment
- Partner with various departments and individuals to identify training needs through data analysis, interviews, surveys, and observation.
- Analyze skill gaps and performance data to determine training priorities and alignment with organizational goals.
Learning Program Design and Development
- Design and develop effective training programs incorporating diverse learning methodologies such as e-learning, blended learning, and instructor-led sessions.
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including presentations, activities, and online modules.
- Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and skill development.
Program Delivery and Facilitation
- Deliver a variety of training programs effectively, both online and in person, maintaining high levels of engagement and participation.
- Provide clear explanations, actively answer questions, and foster a positive learning environment.
- Use relevant technology tools to enhance the learning experience and facilitate collaboration.
Evaluation and Impact Measurement
- Develop and implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, including pre- and post-training assessments, satisfaction surveys, and performance data analysis.
- Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders, demonstrating the return on investment (ROI) of learning initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest learning trends and technologies, exploring innovative approaches to employee development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve existing learning programs and develop new iitiatives.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive learning culture within the organization.
Develop Potential Strategies for Generating Income for the Department
- Research innovative revenue generation methods to enhance departmental income.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and create strategic plans for increasing departmental revenue through various initiatives.
Additional Duties
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or required by other departments.
- Make at least one direct sale every quarter.
- Submit weekly reports to the line manager and copy the compliance manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
