Business Support Assistant – Job Description
Role Summary
The Business Support Assistant provides essential operational, administrative, communication, and digital support to the CEO of Strivo Labs. This role ensures smooth coordination across projects, timely follow-through, structured documentation, and strong communication both internally and externally.
It requires excellent organisation, strong writing, familiarity with social media, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a proactive, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Executive & Administrative Support
• Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, reminders, and workflow.
• Prepare meeting materials including agendas, briefs, background notes, summaries, and action points.
• Keep digital and physical files well-organised across folders, shared drives, and project documents.
• Assist with travel arrangements, logistics, and event coordination.
• Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up with team members to ensure completion.
2. Professional Writing & Communication
• Draft and refine emails, memos, meeting notes, and professional communication.
• Support with writing for newsletters, internal updates, scripts, and content outlines.
• Edit and format proposals, presentations, and reports to ensure clarity and high standards.
• Maintain a consistent communication style aligned with the CEO's voice.
3. Client & Stakeholder Support
• Assist with client communication, meeting scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Prepare meeting briefs and structured summaries to ensure the CEO is well-prepared.
• Track client deliverables, deadlines, and next steps, escalating risks early.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project progress.
4. Digital, Social Media & Marketing Support
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating content across social media platforms.
• Help coordinate video recording, behind-the-scenes content, scripts, and creative assets.
• Maintain digital content libraries, brand folders, and media assets.
• Support newsletters, digital announcements, and campaign coordination with the marketing team.
• Assist with community engagement by organising comments, messages, and responses for review.
• Support the CEO's digital presence through structured content calendars and organised posting workflows.
5. Operations & Project Support
• Provide administrative and operational assistance across projects.
• Conduct research tasks including competitor checks, pricing comparisons, market insights, and idea scans.
• Track activities across workstreams and ensure follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Create simple workflows, checklists, and templates that support team organisation.

• Social media fluency and comfort with digital platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Professional, polite, and confident with clients and team members.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new tools quickly.
• Reliable, discreet, and consistent in delivery.
Experience Required
• 3-7 years in administrative support, operations, communications, or digital marketing.
• Experience with social media or content assistance is an advantage.
• Demonstrated strong writing ability.
• Familiarity with digital tools (Google Workspace, project management tools, social platforms).
