Sambus Geospatial is a Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping company. We are the sole distributor of ESRI, ENVI, Trimble and WINGTRA Drones with exclusive representation in Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Gabon, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea, and Liberia.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Sales Officer (GIS Background)

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Officer to join our team at our Lagos office in Victoria Island.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and a minimum of 2 years' proven experience in sales.
  • This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting clients with innovative geospatial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the GIS and related sectors.
  • Promote and sell GIS-based products and services to clients across industries.
  • Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in tech or GIS-related fields.
  • Strong understanding of GIS tools, applications, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Must be available to work physically from our Lagos office in Victoria Island.
