About the Role

We are building a next-generation logistics and on-demand errand mobile application with real-time tracking, secure payments, and seamless communication. We are seeking a Mobile App Engineer specializing in React Native to lead the development of our mobile application and contribute to backend services where needed.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end mobile app development using React Native.

Build, debug, and test applications using Expo Go and Expo Dev.

Implement real-time map tracking with GPS APIs, WebSockets, and mapping SDKs such as Google Maps or Mapbox.

Develop and maintain a secure escrow wallet system and in-app payment flows.

Build in-app voice calling and chat functionality using WebRTC or third-party communication platforms.

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and enhance system functionality.

Work with PostgreSQL for structured data storage and querying.

Participate in AWS deployments and app infrastructure support when necessary.

Collaborate with UI/UX, Product, and QA teams to deliver polished mobile experiences.

Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in mobile app development, primarily using React Native.

Strong proficiency with Expo Go, Expo Dev, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Demonstrated experience building real-time map features and geolocation systems.

Experience developing secure wallet or payment workflows.

Experience implementing in-app calling and chat systems (WebRTC, Twilio, Sendbird, Zegocloud, etc.).

Working knowledge of backend development or similar).

Production experience with PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).

Strong debugging skills and attention to performance on mobile devices.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with serverless architectures or microservices.

Additional backend database experience (SQL or NoSQL).

Prior background building logistics, mobility, or real-time communication apps.

Experience in a fast-paced startup or growth environment.
