Business Development Manager

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth, identify high-value opportunities, and close profitable deals. The ideal candidate is a high performer with a strong command of market dynamics, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record delivering revenue in the real estate or construction sector. This is a role for someone who operates with precision, professionalism, and strategic intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Market Expansion
Identify and evaluate profitable business opportunities across Abuja and other key markets.
Conduct market and competitor research to uncover trends and shifts in commercial and residential real estate.
Develop a strong pipeline through networking, partnerships, digital strategies, and industry events.
- Revenue Growth & Deal Closing
Develop strategies that significantly grow company revenue and market presence.
Lead high-stakes negotiations, pitches, and presentations to secure deals with clients, investors, and partners.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Strategic Partnerships
Build solid relationships with developers, government agencies, agents, investors, and corporate clients.
Identify collaboration opportunities that expand the company's footprint and long-term revenue potential.
- Client Relationship Management
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Ensure timely follow-up, excellent communication, and exceptional customer experience.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting
Create quarterly and annual business development plans aligned with company goals.
Track KPIs, analyze sales performance data, and provide insights to leadership.
Recommend strategic improvements to enhance the BD and sales operations.
Required Competencies:
Technical & Professional
Minimum 5–7 years of business development experience (real estate experience strongly preferred).
Proven ability to close high-value deals and meet revenue targets.
Strong understanding of market research, pricing, sales forecasting, and proposal development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Highly proactive, resourceful, and self-driven.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Confident, articulate, and persuasive, with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong professionalism and ability to represent the company at a senior level.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related fields.
MBA or relevant certifications are added advantages.
