Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Cook / Chef / Steward / Kitchen Assistant at Precious Palm Royal Hotel. The role is based in Benin City. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, assisting in kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Additional responsibilities may include food presentation, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety standards
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus
• Culinary training, certification, or a similar qualification is an advantage
