Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, performing manual testing, creating and reviewing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software applications. The role involves identifying defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues, and driving quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards for software functionality and performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Test Execution and Software Testing processes
  • Proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies and practices
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Manual Testing and creating Test Cases
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve defects effectively
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on-site in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is a plus
  • Experience with automated testing tools is an advantage
