Together, they aim to unlock growth opportunities for small businesses through tailored financial services.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Group Treasurer. The Group Treasurer will be responsible for managing the organization's liquidity, optimizing financial resources, developing and implementing cash flow management strategies, and overseeing investment activities. The role also includes ensuring compliance with financial regulatory requirements, monitoring financial risks, and coordinating with both subsidiaries to meet their funding needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Financial Risk Management, Liquidity Management, and Investment Strategies
  • Proficiency in Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Treasury Operations in the financial sector
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-solving, and Decision-making skills
  • Effective Communication, Leadership, and Team Collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Advanced degrees and certifications such as CFA or CTP are a plus)
  • Proven experience in treasury management, ideally within financial institutions
