About the Role:

We are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a mining company to lead the development of mining projects from exploration through to production. This is a chance to drive high-impact projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver operational excellence in a fast-evolving mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of mining projects from inception to production.
  • Oversee design, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple project sites.
  • Manage technical, financial and environment aspects of project development.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with mining and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degrees in Mining Engineering, Geology, Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, including experience managing mining or large scale industrial projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Sound understanding of Nigerian mining regulations and permitting processes.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
