Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Backend Engineer. The Senior Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, ensure efficient data processing, write clean and reusable code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend functionalities with frontend systems. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving system issues to maintain high levels of performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Reside in Nigeria
  • At least 5 years of professional backend work experience
  • Excellent understanding of NestJS (Typescript)
  • Strong experience building scalable systems, handling high-volume transactions
  • Experience building with Microservice Architecture
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team-based environment
  • Bachelor's degree in any of the STEM fields
  • Previous experience in automotive technology/financial, or a related industry is a plus
  • Willingness to take a coding test
