Webedge is currently recruiting for a newly established investment and fund management company called Choicetrade Capital Limited, duly incorporated in Nigeria and currently completing its registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). We are driven by a mission to deliver sustainable financial growth and wealth creation for our clients through innovative portfolio strategies, transparent investment processes, and sound governance.

As we build our foundation, we seek
a highly experienced Fund Manager
who already holds
SEC Sponsorship status
and is open to a
transfer of registration
to join our pioneering team.

Role Overview

The
Fund Manager
will play a key leadership role in establishing and managing Choicetrade's investment portfolios, shaping our fund strategies, and ensuring full compliance with SEC regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical experience, a network within the Nigerian capital market, and a passion for innovation in fund management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic investment plans across multiple asset classes.
  • Oversee the creation and management of client portfolios, ensuring optimal risk-return performance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and operations staff.
  • Ensure full compliance with
    SEC regulations
    and reporting obligations.
  • Conduct market research and provide insights to support investment decisions.
  • Liaise with clients, investors, and regulatory bodies to build trust and credibility.
  • Collaborate with the management team to design new investment products.

Requirements

  • Must be a
    current SEC-sponsored individual
    (Fund/Portfolio Management category).
  • Open to the
    transfer of sponsorship
    to Choicetrade Capital Limited.
  • Minimum of 3
    –5 years of experience
    in fund or portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of managing investment portfolios and client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, risk management, and asset allocation strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Professional qualifications such as
    CFA, CIS, or equivalent
    will be an added advantage.
