We are looking to hire a Quarry Manager to join our team.

• Minimum Qualification : Degree
• Experience Level : Senior level
• Experience Length : 5 years

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Supervise drilling, blasting, crushing, and hauling activities.
• Optimize production throughput and minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs.

Personnel Oversight:

• Recruit, train, and manage quarry staff and contractors.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits.

Financial and Commercial Leadership:

• Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability.
• Oversee product pricing, sales, and client relations.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts.

Regulatory and Community Engagement:

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian mining laws and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.
• Engage with host communities and manage CSR initiatives.

Quality Control and Reporting:

• Monitor material quality and ensure it meets client specs.
• Maintain production logs, safety records, and regulatory documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years in quarry operations or mining management.
• In-depth knowledge of quarry equipment, production methods, and safety protocols
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local mining regulations and environmental laws.
