Project Manager – Donor-Funded Projects

SFH Access to Health Ltd/GTE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of donor-funded health and development initiatives. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker and results-driven professional who can provide visionary leadership, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and drive measurable impact across communities.
As Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and planning to execution, monitoring, and reporting. You will work closely with internal teams, donors, government agencies, and implementing partners to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of donor-funded projects, ensuring alignment with donor expectations and organizational priorities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Analysis
- Design and oversee robust M&E frameworks, including logical frameworks and performance indicators.
- Analyze project data to assess progress, identify trends, and generate actionable

Donor & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison with donors, government agencies, and implementing partners.
Prepare and submit high-quality technical and financial reports in accordance with donor requirements.
Support proposal development and resource mobilization for new and ongoing project opportunities.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to donor and organizational policies, including procurement, reporting, and ethical standards.
Identify potential risks and lead the development of mitigation strategies.
Conduct internal project reviews and recommend corrective actions to address performance gaps.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs (e.g., USAID, Global Fund, BMGF).
Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, data analysis, donor reporting, and impact measurement.
Required Competencies:
Project Management: Strong command of PMBOK or Agile methodologies.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Skilled in developing KPIs, logical frameworks, and data visualization tools.
Donor Compliance: In-depth knowledge of donor regulations and reporting standards.
Financial Oversight: Experience in budget tracking, financial reporting, and resource optimization.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
