Human Resource Manager

- The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
- The goal is to ensure the organization is staffed by high-performing employees and operates in compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the full talent acquisition process. This includes sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and conducting orientations to integrate new hires.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems (KPIs/OKRs) that drive high performance and professional growth.
- Policy Development: Develop, update, and recommend personnel policies and procedures in accordance with changing labor laws.
- Compensation & Benefits: Ensure payroll is accurate and competitive. Manage health insurance, pension schemes, and other employee perks.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee grievances. Conduct investigations, mediate disputes, and oversee disciplinary procedures.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs for teams and individuals; coordinate workshops or coaching sessions to bridge skill gaps.
- Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all local and national labor regulations (e.g., Nigerian Labour Act, tax filings, and safety standards).
- Culture & Engagement: Design initiatives to improve employee morale, such as team-building events and recognition programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR goals with the overall business strategy.
- Integrity: Handling sensitive employee data and company secrets with the highest confidentiality.
- Empathy: Balancing the needs of the company with the well-being of the staff.
- Decision-Making: The ability to remain objective and make tough calls regarding terminations or restructuring.
- Employee Satisfaction Score: Based on internal surveys and feedback.
Category Requirements Education
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. (Professional certification like CIPM, PHR, or SHRM is a major plus).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Legal Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll
Salary
N200,000 per month.
