Job Summary

We seek a qualified Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic tests, analyze samples, and ensure accurate results to support patient care. The ideal candidate must follow medical and safety standards while maintaining equipment and upholding laboratory quality procedures.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, label, and prepare biological or chemical samples for testing.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments accurately under standard operating procedures.
  • Record and analyze results, ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and other materials required for testing.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and laboratory records.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the lab.
  • Assist in research or diagnostic projects as required.
  • Support senior scientists or medical staff in specialized laboratory tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Relevant certification and professional license (if applicable, e.g., MLSCN for Nigeria).
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting (internship may be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Remuneration: NGN 90,000 monthly
